What’s Special About This Mercury Retrograde ~ 8 Nov 2019

Just a quick blip today, to bring attention on important Mercurial matters nearly at hand.

Yep, it’s Mercury retrograde again... this time in Scorpio. Watch as those holding cards close to their chest clumsily reach for a refreshing beverage. What has been dealt will be revealed! As Mercury in Scorpio knows, the most acceptable three words to preview a disclosure are: The truth is. Consider that people do want to know how you feel... what makes you tick and what feeds your soul. If they intend to collaborate or engage with you, that’s true at some level.

On 11 November Mercury, in retrograde, makes a conjunction with the Sun - as it does at the virtual midpoint of any Mercury retrograde. This time though, it’s so precise that one, with proper astronomical viewing devices and filters (very important), can actually view Mercury move across the surface of the Sun.

Known as a transit of the Sun, an exactly aligned inferior conjunction, the four most recent Mercury transit events lined up 15 November 1999, 7 May 2003, 8 November 2006 and 9 May 2016. The next occurs in three days beginning at 12:36 UT on 11 November, lasting some five and a half hours, with the midpoint occurring at 15:20 UT. The next Mercury transit will be a while down the road: 13 November 2032. Fourteen such transits occur within the 21st Century. Note that these events will always occur in May or November as the heliocentric nodes of Mercury are Taurus (north) and Scorpio, and such alignments occur near the nodes.

This transit phenomena serves to focus all matters Mercury and all things solar. You know, like telling everyone with the need to know exactly where you stand and with enough appropriate backstory to make your motives clear. Right now it’s here, so what’s the best way to deal with it?

> Take some time to look within. Locate the core of your being... your personal deep state.

> See what churns within and what desperately seeks to surface.

> Ask your soul (not your ego) what you truly want.

> Does what you want truly serve your spirit’s path toward dharma?

> Accept what you want. Know that this stokes the fires of your soul. Make peace with it.

> Declare this truth to the two most important persons in your life: you and yourself.

> Carry the essence, the vibe of your desire and passion to pursue within your aura.

> Go about your daily business. Allow for the reeking scent of your spirit to leak out of your pores.

Cool. You’re good to go. You know the full truth about yourself. Be cogent and engaging. Let your essence do the talking. Enjoy the transit. You’ll be able to watch online safely.
